GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels is the decision almost every funnel builder hits sooner or later. Both start at $97 a month, both build landing pages, sales funnels, courses and email campaigns, and both offer a free trial (30 days for GoHighLevel through our link, 14 for ClickFunnels). The difference is who they are built for: GoHighLevel is an agency platform that bundles a full CRM, SMS, calling and client sub-accounts you can white-label. ClickFunnels is a funnel and offer platform for people selling their own products.

We compared GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels from each vendor’s official pricing page and help documentation on 5 November 2026. Every price below links back to its source, and we’ve noted anything we couldn’t confirm.

Short answer: in the GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels choice, pick GoHighLevel if you run an agency or a service business that needs CRM, two-way SMS, booking and separate client accounts in one login. Choose ClickFunnels if you sell your own course, coaching or physical product and mainly need funnels, checkout and email that work without much setup.

GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels: an agency CRM platform against a funnel builder for creators.

GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels: what each platform actually is

GoHighLevel (the company now brands itself HighLevel) is a CRM and marketing platform with two layers. You get an agency account, and inside it you create a sub-account for each client or business. Every sub-account has its own contacts, pipelines, calendars, phone numbers, funnels, websites, workflows and reporting. You can put your own logo and domain on the whole thing and, on the top plan, sell it to clients as your own software.

ClickFunnels started as a sales funnel builder and grew into an offer platform: funnels and pages, a store, courses, memberships, a community, email marketing and a basic CRM. It’s built around one business selling its own products. You can run more than one brand through extra workspaces, but there’s no white-label layer and no built-in phone dialer.

So the real question isn’t which builder makes nicer pages. It’s whether you need a client-management platform (GoHighLevel) or a selling platform (ClickFunnels).

GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels pricing

On paper, GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels pricing looks almost identical. Both charge $97, $297 and more, and both give you two months free when you pay yearly. The catch is in what’s metered and what’s capped.

GoHighLevel plans

PlanMonthlyYearlyWhat changes
Starter$97$9703 sub-accounts, all core features
Unlimited$297$2,970Unlimited sub-accounts, rebill phone and email at cost, basic API
Agency Pro$497$4,970SaaS mode, rebilling with your own markup, advanced API
EnterpriseCustomCustomDedicated success manager, white-label mobile app and HIPAA included

Every GoHighLevel plan includes unlimited contacts and users. What you pay on top depends on usage. HighLevel’s own pricing guide lists email at $0.675 per 1,000 sends, US SMS at $0.00747 per segment, outbound calls at $0.0166 a minute, and local numbers at $1.15 a month. Texting US numbers also needs A2P 10DLC registration, a one-time fee of $22.50 or $64 plus a small monthly campaign fee.

The AI Employee (Conversation AI, Voice AI and Content AI) is a separate line item: pay per use, $50 a month per sub-account on Growth, or $97 a month per sub-account on Unlimited.

ClickFunnels plans

PlanMonthlyYearlyWorkspacesContactsEmails/mo
Launch$97$970 ($81/mo)110,00050,000
Scale$197$1,970 ($164/mo)575,000300,000
Optimize$297$2,970 ($248/mo)10150,000750,000
DominateYearly only$5,99720400,0001.2 million

All current ClickFunnels plans include unlimited funnels, pages and visitors, according to the ClickFunnels pricing page. Team seats, courses, custom domains and stores scale with the plan: Launch allows 2 team members, 3 courses and 5 domains; Scale allows 5 team members and unlimited domains. ClickFunnels moved to these four plans in June 2025. If you signed up earlier on Basic, Pro or FunnelHacker, you keep your old plan and its limits.

Watch the meter. ClickFunnels bundles email into the plan price. GoHighLevel bills every email, text and call separately. For a list of a few thousand people that barely matters. For an agency sending hundreds of thousands of emails a month, it’s a real line on the invoice.

What three real setups would cost

List prices only tell half the story, so we priced three common setups to settle GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels on real costs, using each vendor’s published rates. These are our estimates, not quotes, and they assume US sending.

SetupGoHighLevelClickFunnels
Solo coach: 1 business, 4,000 contacts, 20,000 emails a month, no SMSStarter $97 + about $13.50 email = ~$111/moLaunch $97/mo, email included
Small agency: 8 clients, 200,000 emails a month in totalUnlimited $297 + about $135 email = ~$432/mo before SMS (you can rebill email to clients at cost)Optimize $297/mo for 10 workspaces, with no phone dialer or white-label
Local service business: 1 location, 2,000 texts and 300 call minutes a monthStarter $97 + one number $1.15 + SMS about $15 + calls about $5 + A2P fees = ~$120/moLaunch $97/mo has no booking calendars (they start on Scale at $197) and no phone dialer, so you’d add a phone tool

The pattern is consistent. ClickFunnels is cheaper and more predictable when you only need funnels and email. GoHighLevel costs more on the invoice but replaces several other subscriptions: a CRM, a scheduling tool, a texting service and often a phone system. For a closer look at every add-on, read our GoHighLevel pricing guide.

GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels for funnels and websites

This is ClickFunnels’ home ground. The whole product is organised around a funnel: an opt-in page, a sales page, an order form, upsells and a thank-you page, with the checkout and product built into the same flow. Order bumps, one-click upsells and course delivery sit right next to the pages that sell them. If your business is “traffic in, offer out”, you’ll find fewer places to get lost.

GoHighLevel’s funnel and website builder covers the same ground: multi-step funnels, full websites, forms, surveys, order forms and payments through Stripe, PayPal, NMI, Authorize.net, Square and others. Where it differs is what happens after the form is submitted. The lead lands in a CRM pipeline, can book on a calendar, gets a text within seconds and is routed to a salesperson. That’s the job most agency clients actually pay for.

Both builders include AI page and copy tools. ClickFunnels includes a set number of AI words per plan (1 million on Launch). GoHighLevel offers Funnel AI and Content AI, with Content AI covered by the AI Employee pricing above.

CRM, pipelines and follow-up

If you’re comparing GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels for sales follow-up, this is the section that should decide it.

GoHighLevel is a CRM first. You get multiple pipelines per sub-account, opportunities with values and stages, a unified inbox that pulls email, SMS, web chat and social messages into one thread, booking calendars with round-robin, and a phone dialer with call recording. A lead who fills in a form can be texted, assigned, booked and reminded without any other tool.

ClickFunnels has a CRM too, and for an online seller it covers the basics: contacts, tags, purchase history and pipelines. ClickFunnels also lists two-way messaging, including SMS, through its MessageHub, and booking calendars from the Scale plan. Its help docs show texting running through your own Twilio or Bandwidth account, and there’s no built-in phone dialer. In a GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels decision, this gap matters most. If your sales process depends on fast phone calls, as it does for most local businesses and agency clients, you’ll still be adding another tool.

Email marketing and automation compared

On email, ClickFunnels vs GoHighLevel is closer than you might expect. Both platforms send broadcasts and automated sequences, and both have visual workflow builders with triggers such as form submitted, tag added or purchase made.

GoHighLevel’s workflows reach further because they can act on every channel it owns: send a text, create a task, move an opportunity, add a calendar event, send a review request or hand the conversation to its AI. Some advanced actions are metered at $0.01 per execution, with optional Workflow Pro bundles from $10 a month.

ClickFunnels’ automations are tighter and simpler, built around what a buyer did in a funnel, but note that its pricing page lists workflow automations from the Scale plan ($197), not on Launch. For an online course or product launch, that’s often all you need, and the email allowance in the plan means no surprise bills.

GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels on ease of use

ClickFunnels is the quicker start for a single business. You pick a funnel template, connect a domain and a payment processor, and the pieces are already wired together.

GoHighLevel asks more of you up front, because there is simply more to configure: the agency account, each sub-account, phone numbers and A2P registration, email domains, calendars, pipelines and workflows. Agencies cut that time with snapshots, which copy a finished sub-account (funnels, workflows, calendars, pipelines) into a new client in one step. Once you have a good snapshot, onboarding client number ten is far faster than client number one.

Plan for a learning curve with GoHighLevel. Plan for fewer moving parts, and fewer capabilities, with ClickFunnels.

Switching from ClickFunnels to GoHighLevel (or back)

Most ClickFunnels vs GoHighLevel switches go one way: from ClickFunnels to GoHighLevel. That usually happens when a coach or seller starts doing calls and texting, or an agency outgrows workspaces. A few things to plan before you move:

  1. Export contacts with tags. Download a CSV from the old platform and map tags to tags so your segments survive.
  2. Rebuild pages; don’t expect a perfect import. Funnel pages don’t move cleanly between builders. Treat it as a chance to rebuild your best-converting pages first.
  3. Move payments last. Recurring subscriptions live in your payment processor, not the funnel tool. Check how each subscription will keep billing before you switch the checkout.
  4. Warm up email sending. A new sending domain needs SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and a gradual ramp-up, or your first broadcast may land in spam.
  5. Register for A2P 10DLC early if you’ll text US numbers from GoHighLevel. Approval can take days.
  6. Run both for one billing cycle. Keep the old account until the new funnels have taken real orders.

Tip. The fastest way to settle GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels for your own business is to use the trials. ClickFunnels gives you 14 days of trial plus a 30-day money-back guarantee, and GoHighLevel gives you 30 days through our link (14 days if you sign up directly). Build one real funnel in each during the trial, not a template, and you’ll know which one fits.

Choose GoHighLevel if…

  • You manage leads for several client businesses
  • You want SMS, calling and booking in the same login as your funnels
  • You plan to resell the platform under your own brand
  • You would otherwise pay for a CRM, scheduler and texting tool separately

Choose ClickFunnels if…

  • You sell your own course, coaching, membership or product
  • You want email included in the plan price
  • You prefer fewer moving parts and a faster first launch
  • You don’t need a phone dialer or advanced texting

Courses, memberships and communities

Both platforms host online courses and communities, which is a big reason creators compare them in the first place.

ClickFunnels ties courses directly to the funnel that sells them: a buyer pays on the order form and lands in the course, with access handled for you. The number of courses and communities is capped by plan (3 on Launch, 6 on Scale, 10 on Optimize and 20 on Dominate), so a creator with a large catalogue will need a higher tier.

GoHighLevel includes courses and communities in each sub-account. For an agency, that means a client can run a membership area without a separate tool. For a solo creator, the course side does the job, but ClickFunnels is the more focused experience when the course is the product.

Payments, integrations and support

GoHighLevel connects to Stripe, PayPal, NMI, Authorize.net, Square, Adyen and Razorpay for payments, and includes payments and invoicing. It also has an API (basic on the $297 plan, advanced on $497) for agencies that want to connect their own systems. Support is advertised as 24/7 on every plan, with a premium support add-on at $500 a month.

ClickFunnels handles checkout inside the funnel and lists third-party integrations on every plan. Support depends on the plan: standard support on Launch, and priority support with live chat from Scale upwards.

In a GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels comparison for a growing business, the integration question usually comes down to one thing: how many other tools you want to keep paying for. GoHighLevel is designed to replace them. ClickFunnels is designed to sit at the centre of a smaller stack.

Who should skip both

Not every business belongs on either side of the GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels debate. If you only need a landing page and a newsletter, both tools are overkill at $97 a month. A dedicated email tool with landing pages, or a cheaper all-in-one such as Systeme.io, will cover it for far less. If you’re a single business that mainly needs a sales CRM and reporting, our GoHighLevel vs HubSpot comparison is the better starting point. How we researched GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels

We read each vendor’s public pricing page, plan comparison tables and help-centre articles on 5 November 2026, and we priced the three setups using the published usage rates. We haven’t included star ratings, because a score should come from a hands-on test on the same standard job, as described on our how we test page. When prices change, we update this page and the “prices checked” date at the top.

OUR PICK

GoHighLevel for agencies and service businesses. ClickFunnels for creators selling their own offers.

Our GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels verdict: at the same $97 entry price, GoHighLevel gives you far more software: a CRM, texting, calling, booking and client accounts you can brand as your own. You pay for that with usage fees and a steeper setup. ClickFunnels does less, but what it does (funnels, checkout, courses and email) is bundled, predictable and quick to launch.

Can GoHighLevel replace ClickFunnels?

Yes for most use cases. GoHighLevel builds multi-step funnels, order forms, upsells, websites, courses and communities. Sellers who rely on ClickFunnels-specific features such as its store or its funnel templates should rebuild one key funnel during the trial before they move.

Is ClickFunnels 2.0 still the name?

GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels: which is better for an agency?

GoHighLevel. It is built around client sub-accounts, white-label branding, snapshots for fast onboarding and the option to rebill or resell. ClickFunnels has workspaces for separate brands, but no white-label layer.

Do they offer free trials?

Yes. GoHighLevel offers 30 days through our link (14 days if you sign up directly), and ClickFunnels offers 14 days. ClickFunnels adds a 30-day money-back guarantee after the trial. Neither has a free plan.
