GoHighLevel is hard to leave and easy to outgrow in the wrong direction. It does almost everything an agency could ask for, but most people who search for GoHighLevel alternatives have hit one of three walls: the $97 entry price feels steep for what they actually use, the interface takes weeks to learn, or the usage bills for texts, emails and calls keep creeping up.

The right replacement depends on which wall you hit. Below are seven tools we’d shortlist in 2026, what each one does better than GoHighLevel, and what you give up by switching. Every price comes from the vendor’s own pricing page, checked on 5 November 2026. If you only want the HighLevel price breakdown, our GoHighLevel pricing guide covers every plan and usage fee.

GoHighLevel alternatives compared: Systeme.io, HubSpot, Vendasta and SuiteDash
Seven GoHighLevel alternatives, each matched to a different reason for leaving.

Why agencies look for a GoHighLevel alternative

It’s rarely about missing features. HighLevel’s Starter plan already bundles a CRM, funnels, websites, email, SMS, calling, calendars, reputation tools and workflows for $97 a month. The friction usually comes from somewhere else:

  • Cost before revenue. $97 a month is a lot when you have two clients, and the Unlimited plan at $297 is where client rebilling starts.
  • Usage fees on top. Email, SMS and calls are billed per use through LC Email and LC Phone. They’re cheap per message, but they add up on busy accounts.
  • The learning curve. Workflows, sub-accounts, snapshots and the agency view are powerful, but a freelancer who only needs funnels and email can spend weeks configuring things they never use.
  • A narrower job. Some agencies only sell one service, such as email marketing or B2B lead generation, and a specialist tool does that one job better.

Keep those reasons in mind as you read. A cheaper tool that can’t text your clients’ leads is a downgrade if texting is how your clients make money.

1

Systeme.io: the cheapest GoHighLevel alternative

Systeme.io logo

Best for: Solo founders and small agencies on a budget

Free plan · Startup $17/mo · Unlimited $97/mo

Systeme.io is the closest thing to a budget GoHighLevel. It covers funnels, websites, email marketing, courses, communities, a blog, CRM pipelines, a booking calendar and an affiliate program for your own products, and the free plan is genuinely usable: 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course and 1 custom domain. Paid plans are $17 (Startup), $47 (Webinar) and $97 (Unlimited) a month, with two months free on yearly billing and unlimited email sending on every plan.

The surprise for agencies is that Systeme.io now includes a white-label reseller feature on every plan. You can put the platform on your own domain, add your logo and colours, create your own plans and manage client accounts from a reseller dashboard. Systeme.io’s terms say you can’t price below its own plans, and which plans you can resell depends on yours: Startup users can resell Startup, Webinar users Startup and Webinar, and Unlimited users everything.

Where it falls short is communication. Texting runs through your own Twilio account inside automations, and Systeme.io itself suggests a dedicated SMS tool if you need two-way conversations. There’s no built-in phone system, no review management and no unified inbox like HighLevel’s.

✓ WHY SWITCH

A real free plan, unlimited emails and a white-label option from $17 a month.

✕ WATCH OUT

SMS needs your own Twilio account and is one-way automation; no calling or review tools.

2

HubSpot: the GoHighLevel alternative for B2B agencies

HubSpot logo

Best for: Agencies whose clients sell B2B or have sales teams

Free CRM · Starter $20/seat/mo · Pro from $800/mo

HubSpot is what you choose when the CRM matters more than the funnel. Its free CRM gives two users up to 1,000 marketing contacts, and Starter is listed at $20 per seat a month (HubSpot was running a promotional price for new customers when we checked). Reporting, sales pipelines, deal tracking and the sheer number of integrations are well ahead of GoHighLevel’s.

The catch is the pricing ladder. Serious marketing automation lives in Marketing Hub Professional, which starts at $800 a month with three seats and a $3,000 one-time onboarding fee. And there is no white-label or sub-account reselling: each client normally gets their own HubSpot account, while agencies earn through HubSpot’s Solutions Partner Program instead.

We compared the two in detail in GoHighLevel vs HubSpot.

✓ WHY SWITCH

Best-in-class CRM, reporting and integrations, with a free plan to start.

✕ WATCH OUT

No white-label, and automation gets expensive fast at Professional.

3

ClickFunnels: a GoHighLevel alternative for funnel-first businesses

ClickFunnels logo

Best for: Info-product and e-commerce sellers who live in their funnels

Launch $97/mo ($81 yearly) · Scale $197 · Optimize $297

If you came to GoHighLevel for funnels and never used the rest, ClickFunnels is the specialist. Its checkout, upsell and order-bump tools are the reason people pay for it, and Launch includes one workspace, two team members, 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails a month and three courses.

It isn’t a like-for-like agency tool. There’s no white-label layer and no phone dialer. ClickFunnels lists two-way messaging, including SMS, through its MessageHub, but its help docs show texting running through your own Twilio or Bandwidth account, and booking calendars only start on Scale at $197. Price-wise it’s no cheaper: Launch is $97 a month, the same as HighLevel Starter.

See GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels for a full breakdown.

✓ WHY SWITCH

Polished funnel and checkout builder with strong upsell tools.

✕ WATCH OUT

Same entry price as HighLevel with no white-label, calling or booking on Launch.

4

Kartra: a GoHighLevel alternative for course creators

Kartra logo

Best for: Coaches and course creators who want email and SMS in one tool

Essentials $59/mo ($52 yearly) · Starter $119 ($99 yearly)

Kartra sits between ClickFunnels and GoHighLevel. You get pages, checkouts, email, SMS, memberships, video hosting and a helpdesk in one login, and it feels more finished out of the box than HighLevel does. Essentials costs $59 a month ($52 yearly) for 500 contacts and 10,000 emails a month, with a 5% transaction fee. Starter at $119 ($99 yearly) raises the limit to 2,500 contacts, includes unlimited email and SMS, drops the transaction fee to 0% and adds calendars, and Growth at $229 adds a helpdesk and affiliate management.

The pricing is contact-based, so it gets expensive as your list grows, and Kartra is built around running one business rather than many client accounts. For an agency with ten clients, that matters more than any single feature. Our GoHighLevel vs Kartra comparison goes deeper.

✓ WHY SWITCH

Email, SMS, memberships and checkout in one polished platform.

✕ WATCH OUT

Contact tiers get pricey, and it isn’t designed for multi-client agencies.

5

ActiveCampaign: the GoHighLevel alternative for email-led agencies

ActiveCampaign logo

Best for: Agencies whose main service is email and lifecycle marketing

From $15/mo yearly (1,000 contacts)

ActiveCampaign’s automation builder is still one of the best in the business: goals, branching, lead scoring and conditional content are all mature, and its integrations library is one of the largest in email marketing. Starter is $15 a month billed yearly for 1,000 contacts, Plus is $49 and Pro is $79.

It replaces the email half of GoHighLevel, not the rest. Landing pages are basic next to a funnel builder, there’s no phone system, and agencies manage clients through separate accounts. If email is 80% of what you deliver, that’s fine. If you sell “everything,” you’ll be stitching tools together. See GoHighLevel vs ActiveCampaign.

✓ WHY SWITCH

Deeper email automation and segmentation than HighLevel.

✕ WATCH OUT

Price rises with your list, and there are no funnels or calling to match HighLevel.

6

Vendasta: a GoHighLevel alternative for local-business resellers

Vendasta logo

Best for: Agencies selling many products to local businesses

Starter from $99/mo minimum · Professional $499/mo

Vendasta is less a GoHighLevel clone and more a storefront for selling software and services to local businesses. Alongside its CRM and sales tools, it gives agencies a marketplace of products to resell, plus a client portal. Pricing works on a monthly minimum spend: Starter begins at $99 a month with no contract but co-branded, while the white-label client portal comes with Professional at $499 a month on a one-year term. Premium is $999 a month.

That makes it a poor fit for a two-person agency and a strong fit for an established team that wants to sell listings, reputation, ads and websites from one catalogue.

✓ WHY SWITCH

A large resale marketplace built for local-business agencies.

✕ WATCH OUT

Full white-label starts at $499 a month on an annual term.

7

SuiteDash: a GoHighLevel alternative for branded client portals

SuiteDash logo

Best for: Service businesses that need portals, projects and invoicing

START $19/mo · THRIVE $49 · PINNACLE $99

SuiteDash approaches the problem from the operations side. It combines a CRM, client portals, projects, invoicing, file sharing, forms and email marketing, and every plan includes unlimited contacts, staff and portals. START costs $19 a month, THRIVE $49 and PINNACLE $99, with yearly prices of $180, $480 and $960, and SuiteDash says white-label branding is available from START.

It doesn’t try to match HighLevel’s funnels, texting or reputation tools. Think of it as the place your clients log in to see their projects and pay invoices, not the engine that generates their leads.

✓ WHY SWITCH

Unlimited users and contacts with white-label portals from $19.

✕ WATCH OUT

Light on funnels and no native texting or calling.

What you’d pay instead of GoHighLevel

Here’s what each option costs at its entry level, against HighLevel’s own plans. Usage-based fees (texts, emails, calls) are left out because they depend entirely on volume.

Stay on GoHighLevel if…

  • You sell text, call and booking follow-up to local businesses
  • You manage five or more client accounts
  • You want to resell software with SaaS Mode

Switch to Systeme.io if…

  • You mainly need funnels, email and courses
  • You want to start free and pay $17 later
  • Basic one-way SMS through Twilio is enough

Switch to HubSpot if…

  • Your clients have sales teams and long deal cycles
  • Reporting and integrations matter most
  • You don’t need to rebrand the software

Before you switch: what moving off GoHighLevel involves

Leaving HighLevel is more work than leaving most tools because so much lives inside it. Plan for these before you cancel:

  • Phone numbers. If clients’ numbers are on LC Phone, ask about porting them out before you close sub-accounts, or leads will text a dead line.
  • Contacts and history. Contacts export to CSV, but conversation history, pipeline stages and workflow logic don’t transfer as-is to another platform.
  • Funnels and websites. Pages have to be rebuilt in the new builder. Budget an afternoon per funnel, more for complex ones.
  • Workflows. Write down every active workflow’s trigger and steps first. This is where most migrations go wrong.
  • Billing overlap. Keep one month of overlap so nothing breaks while DNS and forms move over.

How we chose these GoHighLevel alternatives

We started from the jobs agencies use HighLevel for (lead capture, follow-up, client management and reselling) and looked for tools that do at least one of those jobs well at a different price or complexity level. Prices and plan limits come from each vendor’s official pricing page on 5 November 2026, and feature claims come from official product pages and help documentation. This is a research-based comparison: we haven’t run client campaigns on every tool listed, and we say so where a detail depends on the vendor’s own description. Some links are affiliate links; see our affiliate disclosure and how we test.

OUR PICK

Most agencies leaving GoHighLevel should try Systeme.io first.

It covers funnels, email, courses, pipelines and even white-label reselling for a fraction of HighLevel’s price, and the free plan lets you test it without risk. If your clients depend on texting and calls, though, nothing on this list replaces HighLevel cleanly.
