Most people looking for HubSpot alternatives aren’t unhappy with HubSpot’s software. They’re unhappy with the bill: per-seat pricing that grows with every hire, Professional editions that jump to hundreds of dollars a month, and one-time onboarding fees of $1,500 to $7,000. The good news is that a small business can get a capable CRM, and often better automation, for far less.
We compared seven HubSpot alternatives using each vendor’s official pricing page on 5 November 2026. Each one solves a different problem, so start with the reason you’re leaving HubSpot and jump to the tool that fixes it.

Why look for HubSpot alternatives?
HubSpot’s free CRM is genuinely useful, and its Starter plan is $20 per seat a month (with a promotional $7 for new customers when we checked). The costs climb at the next step. Sales Hub Professional is $90 per seat a month billed yearly plus a $1,500 onboarding fee, and Marketing Hub Professional starts at $800 a month with three seats plus $3,000 onboarding. For a five-person sales team, that’s $450 a month before marketing tools.
The other common reasons we see: HubSpot has no white-label or client sub-accounts for agencies, two-way texting needs an integration, and the free CRM is capped (1,000 contacts and two users on the current free plan).
1
Pipedrive: the easiest switch for a sales team
Pipedrive is built around one screen: the deal pipeline. Reps drag deals between stages, every email and call attaches to the deal, and reminders keep the next step visible. Plans are Lite ($14), Growth ($39), Premium ($59) and Ultimate ($79) per seat a month billed yearly, after a 2025 restructure that renamed the old Essential, Advanced, Professional and Power plans.
Growth adds automations and sequences, and Premium includes LeadBooster, Projects and a team inbox. Email marketing (Campaigns) and lead tools are add-ons on lower plans. If your team mainly needs to close deals and forecast, Pipedrive covers that for a fraction of HubSpot Sales Hub Professional.
✓ WHY SWITCH
The pipeline is the product, so reps adopt it quickly, and it costs far less than HubSpot Sales Pro.
✕ WATCH OUT
Marketing email and lead capture are add-ons on the cheaper plans.
2
Zoho CRM: the best value all-rounder
Zoho CRM covers leads, contacts, deals, workflows, web forms and reporting, with Zia AI on its higher plans. The free plan supports three users and 5,000 records. Paid plans run Standard ($14), Professional ($23), Enterprise ($40) and Ultimate ($52) per user a month billed yearly, or $20, $35, $50 and $65 monthly.
The bigger draw is the wider Zoho suite: books, desk, campaigns and more connect natively, and Zoho CRM Plus bundles several of them. For a small business that wants HubSpot-style breadth without HubSpot prices, Zoho is the obvious place to look.
✓ WHY SWITCH
A free plan for three users and low per-user prices, with deep customisation.
✕ WATCH OUT
The interface and settings take longer to learn than HubSpot’s.
3
GoHighLevel: the HubSpot alternative for agencies
GoHighLevel replaces HubSpot plus several other tools: CRM pipelines, email, two-way SMS, calling, booking calendars, funnels, websites, reviews and payments, all in one account. Agencies give every client a sub-account and can brand the platform as their own. Plans are $97 (3 sub-accounts), $297 (unlimited) and $497 (SaaS mode), with email, SMS and calls billed by usage.
It’s not the right swap for a B2B team that depends on HubSpot’s reporting depth. For agencies, it’s the most common destination. Read GoHighLevel vs HubSpot for the full comparison and our GoHighLevel pricing guide for usage costs.
✓ WHY SWITCH
Flat pricing with unlimited users, white-label sub-accounts and built-in SMS and calling.
✕ WATCH OUT
More setup up front, and messaging is billed on top of the plan.
4
Salesforce Starter: the alternative you can grow into
Salesforce’s small-business range starts with a Free Suite for two users (it stays free as long as you log in at least every 60 days), then Starter Suite at $25 per user a month and Pro Suite at $100 per user a month on an annual contract. Starter includes lead scoring and routing, email nurture campaigns (2,000 marketing emails a month), sales flows, AI assistance and a connected Slack workspace.
The appeal is the path upwards: if you expect to need custom objects, complex permissions or the AppExchange, starting on Salesforce saves a migration later.
✓ WHY SWITCH
A low entry price with a clear route to the full Salesforce platform.
✕ WATCH OUT
Pro Suite needs an annual contract, and setup gets complex as you grow.
5
ActiveCampaign: for email-first businesses
If you’re on HubSpot mainly for Marketing Hub, ActiveCampaign is the closest like-for-like replacement at a much lower price. Its automation builder handles goals, branching, lead scoring and conditional content, and its AI tools are included on every plan. At 1,000 contacts it costs $15 (Starter), $49 (Plus), $79 (Pro) or $145 (Enterprise) a month billed yearly.
Deal pipelines come through its Enhanced CRM add-on, so a sales-heavy team should price that in. See GoHighLevel vs ActiveCampaign and ActiveCampaign vs Klaviyo for more detail.
✓ WHY SWITCH
Marketing automation as deep as HubSpot Professional for a fraction of the price.
✕ WATCH OUT
Priced by contacts, and the CRM features are an add-on.
6
Brevo: email, SMS and CRM on a tight budget
Brevo prices by emails sent rather than by contacts, which suits businesses with large but quiet lists. The free plan sends 300 emails a day and stores up to 100,000 contacts. Paid plans start with Starter ($9 a month) and Standard ($18 a month) at 5,000 emails, and both include its Sales Essentials CRM. SMS credits are bought separately.
It won’t match HubSpot’s depth, but for a small team that needs newsletters, simple automations and a basic pipeline, it may be all you need.
✓ WHY SWITCH
Pay for emails sent, not contacts stored, with a usable free plan.
✕ WATCH OUT
The CRM is basic, and landing pages and advanced features sit on higher plans.
7
Keap: one all-inclusive plan for small businesses
Keap (now part of Thryv) has dropped feature tiers for a single plan that includes CRM, broadcast and automated email, US and Canadian SMS, landing pages, a sales pipeline, payments and appointment booking. It costs $299 a month, or $2,988 a year, with two users included and extra users at $39 a month. Contact tiers and a required implementation fee add to that; Keap shows them only in its pricing selector, so ask for a quote.
Keap suits a service business that wants one vendor for everything and doesn’t need agency features.
✓ WHY SWITCH
One plan, everything included, with SMS and payments built in.
✕ WATCH OUT
Mandatory implementation, and more expensive than most tools here for a small team.

What a five-person team pays: HubSpot vs the alternatives
Using published prices billed yearly, here’s what a five-person sales team would pay each month before add-ons. These are estimates; check each vendor for your exact needs.
- HubSpot Sales Hub Professional: 5 × $90 = $450, plus a $1,500 onboarding fee.
- HubSpot Starter: 5 × $20 = $100 at the standard price.
- Pipedrive Growth: 5 × $39 = $195, with automations and sequences.
- Zoho CRM Professional: 5 × $23 = $115.
- Salesforce Starter: 5 × $25 = $125.
- GoHighLevel Starter: $97 flat for unlimited users, plus messaging usage.
That’s why so many teams start searching for HubSpot alternatives when they reach the Professional tier: the jump is large, and most of these HubSpot alternatives cover the core sales workflow for a fraction of it.
When you should stay on HubSpot
Not every team should switch. HubSpot is still the better choice if you rely on its marketing attribution reports, use Marketing, Sales and Service hubs together, need its large app marketplace, or already have years of data and workflows built there. In those cases, the cost of rebuilding can outweigh the savings.
How to choose the right HubSpot alternative
- You mostly sell: Pipedrive or Zoho CRM.
- You mostly market by email: ActiveCampaign, or Brevo on a tight budget.
- You run an agency or sell by phone and appointment: GoHighLevel.
- You’ll need enterprise CRM in a few years: Salesforce Starter.
- You want one bundled plan: Keap.
Moving off HubSpot without losing data
- Export contacts, companies, deals and notes from HubSpot, and list your custom properties.
- Recreate fields and pipeline stages in the new CRM before you import.
- Rebuild your most important workflows by hand; automations never transfer.
- Check how your forms, meeting links and email signatures point to HubSpot, and replace them.
- Keep HubSpot’s free CRM read-only for a while so the team can look up history.
How we chose these HubSpot alternatives
We picked tools that fix one of the main reasons people leave HubSpot (price, agency features, texting or simplicity), and checked every price on the vendor’s own pricing page on 5 November 2026. We haven’t ranked by score; scores come from our standard hands-on job, described on the how we test page. For a broader shortlist, see our guide to the best CRM for small business.
